The Silverstars are NOT annoyingly blue. And not blue at all. If you can see blue in your headlights then you're pushing 4500K-5000K or higher and are not getting as much USABLE light.

The Silverstars would burn out in my SUV about every 14-20 months but that was when the DRL's were also my headlights so even though they burned at about 50% output on DRL, they still were getting hours on them. I like them enough to deal with with them burning out faster than the OEM lamps.

Silverstars are the way to go and cheapest too. I have had a set in my normal headlights for about 3 years with maybe 1 burnout and i never had a burnout in my driving lights nor my roush foglights. One of the best and cheapest mods you can do that makes an impact IMO

Sweet I think I may go ahead and just try the silverstars first and if I don't like them start looking at hids I guess!
