bad:[INDENT]scraping. really bad about it. barely had 5" of clearance before the exhaust or cats were scraping. no matter how much I tucked them to the body.
Thats more than enough clearance imo. My cars got around 3" of clearance at some points and i rarely scrape, you have to be careful.

I understand that a 96-04 has a slightly different suspension from a 05+

but the basic principles are the same.

part of owning a car is the fun of driving it. I lost alot of that fun after lowering my car. It became a huge PITA to drive it. Always watching for speedbumps and I even memorized the good sections of highway so I could avoid the bump steer. And those damn concrete things in parking slots...agravating. And then navigating driveways...not worth it.

maybe if I lived in a perfectly flat environment, I'd go lowered again. Between the Seattle streets and the Honolulu streets, I learned a valuable lesson about minimum clearance.

at OP:
hope you get your desired results.

If anyone lowers their cars they should be doing the shocks/struts at the same time. The car will drive and ride okay for a while but eventually the shocks will will lose their ability to work properly and you will start experience the "porpoising", where the back and front start bouncing more than they should.

Shocks/struts are not a shall for lowering, but it should be done. To do it properly there are other things you need to get also. Research it.

Oh and for what it's worth,

The FRPP springs are Eibach Pro's.
