fog light fix
decided to fix the fog light problem.used a sharp knife,{as you see my thumb}and you have to work it into the seam of the light where the plastic lens is attached to the base.once you get it started about 1-2 inches use a sharp putty knife to break the seal all the way around.it will come apart as you can see,but it takes time.once its apart,i used liquid nails to fasten the metal reflector in the hole.so far so good.i cleaned up the lens and the inside of the light.then just use a heat resitent glue or caulk to reseal it.

Do you mean the few instances where the metal bulb "mask" pops out of the hole and into the reflector assembly? I've heard of this but never had a problem with mine when I replaced the stock bulbs. I had heard you could get them out or back in place with a pair of long tweezers and/or needle nose pliers.
Why its frdfrst's fog light problem from april, you remember that, dont you?
Liquid Nails wont handle the fog light bulb heat.
Nice try..
Define 'heat resistant glue or caulk'?
How about using some plastic cement for models?
Super glue will fog the reflector and or lens...
