Here you go... try this...

Ok for a "stock" 2005 GT you can get XXXXX.xx
For the Rim you can get XXXX.xx
For the SC you can get XXXX.xx

Not what you paid but a fair price. say 14K for the car, 2500 for the SC, 1k for the rims. You are looking at about 18K-ish. Try selling it outright for that price first. If no go stock it and sell it separately. Problem is you may get stuck with the car. Selling last. So also try taking it to Carmax. If nothing else you will get an idea of that it is "worth"

... I think guides like KBB went out the window years ago when they started the 0% financing & the bottom fell out of used car prices.

FYI... last month I bought an '05 GT 'vert (premium) for $16k, with very little negotiating, so probably could've gone lower. Torch red, black top, black leather... It's a 5-speed, has 22,000 miles on it, Shaker1000 audio, is in flawless condition- not a single door ding or scratch, and the only mods are 20" rims, a saleen style bar, and color-matched mirrors.

This is in L.A tho... clean, low-mileage cars go FAST... and typically for higher prices.

It's an interesting idea, but to do it, you're looking at $1k+ labor, probably a new tune to be sure, and possibly paying for a new set of rims if you don't have the stockers sitting in the middle of your garage.

...just food for thought :-)
