Those cams are sick! I am checking to see how well they work with F/I. I'd love to have a set in mine.

 

I'm going to use my Brenspeed tune for a while (modified for cams of course). I'll also have my Bama tune.

If I dyno tune it at some point, there's a place fairly close to me called Henderson Performance Technologies. JDM is coming to Houston (which is about a 4 hour drive from me) so if I had to I could go to them one day.

But I think Brenspeed will come through just fine. I can always datalog and have them fine tune things that way. I've also been interested in trying Tillman's tunes.

 

I'm quite looking forward to doing that. I'll have the cams in probably two weeks since I had to send payment through the mail w/ a check and that'll take a week. Then there's the ~1 week to get here once the payment is received.

I might be doing the install during the week of Thanksgiving. If so, I'll also be putting my FRPP chrome valve covers on at the same time. Those things look awesome. Too bad FRPP screwed me out of one bolt. So I have to use one stocker.

 

They work fine. You won't gain huge gains like a blower grind, but you wont lose anything either. I think the gains will be similar to N/A. Brenspeed told me that with Thumprs, they still see 30HP gains with FI.

Hammeron has Hot Rods w/ a Whipple.

 

email tune works fine with these. I actually ran stock tune for a while with no problms

 

Because they don't have the cojones for a real man's idle.
