Default Problems with C&L in hot climates???

Has anyone with a C&L intake had problems at all this summer with high temps. Just curious cause I live in vegas and this last week has been 116 or hotter. I wont get my GT till September but am concerned with the aluminum intake tube absorbing to much heat.

Default RE: Problems with C&L in hot climates???

Where I live, its been in the upper 90s for quite some time. I do notice some drop off in low end when its really hot outside. I do believe the C&L intake does have a tendency to heat soak, and cause a little power loss. Im planning on ordering Thermal Barrier Coating from www.powerhouseproducts.com for my C&L. It will definately help keep temps down, and reduce heat soak power loss. And it looks pretty nice too !!
