Could be, but it wouldn't be a cheap item anymore...

Also, cops should be happy that some of us use the damn signals.
No one does in this Country!! And no one is getting tickets for that.
Where's the logic in this.

Oh I know if they marketed it that way it would be more expensive. I was just thinking of those who already have them, if we could make a switch.

Yeah our country does a lot of things bass-ackwards!

As far as messing around with the sequentials to make them switch to conventional, it'd be a bich, since everything is built in the harness's socket for most of them.

If I was to do that, I'd buy the box that I have in my old Cougar (from Mustang Unlimited) that would be placed between the main harness and the tail harness.
I would splice wires at the main harness right before the box, connected to a switch via relays, all inside the car, so I could bypass the electronics of it.
Maybe 157db can sketch a diagram for you...

It wouldn't be hard at all with the meter4it kit. Since it has jumpers already waiting for you to change things around.

Its as simple as a 4PDT relay. the outer two lights on each side go to
the relay commons hence the need for a 4 pole double throw relay.
The Normally Open contacts go to the OEM stop
light wire and operate the bulbs as normal when the relay is activated.
The Normally Closed contacts go to the appropriate wires out of the
sequencers so the bulbs received sequenced brake light pulses with
the relay off (normal).

Well we just got finished installing the WebElectric Sequentials. I must say it was a good thing too! Before we mounted the 1st set in, we tested to make sure it was working properly. I hit the signal on the other side with the old harness and my husband noticed I had what appeared to be a burned out bulb. He switched the bulb and I hit the brakes again and he said it was the socket or the wires around the socket.
Once we got the new harness installed, it worked perfectly! And to think, I just had the car inspected too.....the guy must have missed it.
I did ask the guy doing inspections if he had a problem with sequentials as far as getting it to pass. He said he had no problem as long as it was blinking. He also said that the Cougars and Shelbys had them back in the late '60s and wasn't a problem so why should should there be one now?

Lazy, inconsiderate people **** me off. how hard is it to use a turn signal, of coarse cops wont write tickets because they rarely use them themselves.

You are wrong... They aren't lazy at all. How are they suppose to hold their phone and signal at the same time. See they just have safety on their minds.

its just another rewawson for them to pull you over.....
if they try to give you a ticket explain to them its standard equipment on new mustangs and you had yours retrofited to match
so how is that breaking the law?

No, they don't. They have to have probable cause, or have very tightly controlled checkpoints.

There are certain parts of town where a cop could find some sort of illegal activity in about 1/2 the cars on the road. Could be he's just playing the numbers.
Probably true, but they can't just stop you.

It wouldn't take a cop very long to manufacture a reason (seems sequentials are one example in some places) but they have to have a reason. They also can't search your car without probable cause, nor can they pull you over for one thing and then look for another.

I think it was already mentioned, but some states prohibit a person from tampering with, or changing in any way, some or all safety equipment installed in a vehicle by the manufacturer. In other words, it would be illegal to retrofit newer equipment into an older vehicle.
