Sequentials are one of the coolest visual mods you can do. Just pull your panties up and just do it.

I've had the sequentials for about 2 years with no issues. I asked a NC police officer and he said he would pull over someone that had chase lights not sequentials. Ford used sequentials on the Cougar in the 70's.

Talk about idiotic laws.
B.S.!!! Not even close to true! Not one car in the U.S. comes with ANY front door window tinted from the factory. It is against Federal law for that. Rear privacy glass is okay on SUV's, but NO coupe or sedan in the U.S. comes with dark tinted glass on any windows. No SUV's come with privacy glass on any windows other than the tailgate or rear most glass.

There is absolutely no regulation in the Arkansas DFA regarding sequential tail lights or turn signals. Sequentials are D.O.T. authorized in every state in this country. They are OEM equipment in many older cars, and no state has restricted their use either OEM or retrofitted.

I get pulled over mot of the time for BS but it always ends up with the question "What you got done to this thing". And then just a long talk about the ca. I think most cops just want to check out the cars. My dad does it sometimes when he sees a sick car. But he doesn't beat around the bush. He'll ask if they have time and inquire about the car. So far no one is a dick about it....so far. Though he got a guy in a white GT-R and he told him it was a TT V8. >.>

I thought I read in an earlier post that someone in NJ said they were illegal?
If what you say is true, it does make me feel somewhat better, but can you provide a link so we can make a copy and have it on us if the situation occurs?

They're talking out of their asses. It happens on these boards.
The 2010 are equipped with those, so the Government would have forced a recall with Ford to change them over if it didn't comply with Federal laws.
I have them on my 70 Cougar, on my 06 Mustang and I will have them on my 68 Fastback when I'm done with it.

+1 on Scotte...
No front windows on any cars, trucks and buses sold in this Country, should by law, be tinted from the factory.

I just did a google search on "are sequential tail lights legal in VA" and come up with this interesting tidbit;

Your car will fail state inspection.

Quote:
5. Vehicle is not equipped with a turn signal if such signal is not working properly or does not continue to function in the same manner as when it was originally manufactured.

So by having unapproved turn signals, you can get a ticket.

I found it on this website;

http://forums.officer.com/forums/sho....php?p=1152346

Read posts #4-7.

I'm telling you, the Law here in VA is run by ****'s!
