I have an 05 s/c vert, had an 08 GT500 vert and now have a 2010 gt500 coupe IMO the 10 is the best of the bunch. They seam to get it right in 10 No rattle,, no clutch issue more power and a nice interior, feels better on the road, The 08 was a low millage car, the clutch was touchy.I vote for the 10, but it's your call. The 05 is my daily driver just a great car all around. The s/c is nice but it add a lot of pounds to the front of the car.Either way you love it!!!!It,s all fun!!!

What about a 10 and put a blower on it? You get IMO a much sleeker, bad *** ride, with major upgrades in suspension and interior. With all the deals going on now you can steal one.

The '10 body style is growing on me. '10 GT500 no question.

I say look about getting an 07-09 GT500 and if the extra weight from the iron block bothers you swap it for the aluminum one they are coming out with. There are some great deals out there and they are only going to be getting better once the 11s come out. Trust me i know, i just traded in my 2007 GT for one and couldnt be happier. Mine has 38000 miles on it but i know the original owner that traded it in for a 2010 GT500 and almost all the miles were high way miles and he only took it to the track 3 or 4 times. In other words i know the car was well taken care of and the higher miles dont bother me. Oh and i got the car for a little over 30k, when most used 07s are still going for upper 30s to low 40s in my area. Plus it is the exact color combo i wanted.

Well I have done a lot of thinking about what i want to do over the last few days. I have spent a lot of money on my vert that i would just loose if I trade it or sell it and the car has sentimental meaning to me. My brother was killed in a motorcycle accident last summer, he never got to ride in the car, I had only had it a month or so when he died. I decided at the time that I would build the car he and I always talked about owning when we were young with part of the life insurance money. We both loved mustangs and owned a dozen between the two of us over the years. The money in the car now is the last part of him I will ever have. I don't even know what I was thinking considering trading it in or selling it. I'll just keep mine and get another mustang and pay cash when i am done with the mods to mine. Thanks for the input all.
