Is Moleskin necessary?
There is a generic Moleskin that leaves has a week adhesive and it will fall off and leave glue all over your window.
The Tint Protector moleskin has an acrylic adhesive that won't come off or mess things up. It's designed for auto use. It's just like OEM stuff.

Is this what your tint is starting to look like?

Yep! But you have to make sure you buy Tint Protector moleskin. Moleskin is just a generic name for this type of felt.

Yep. That's what my windows look like. Scratches galore.
Same here with my 06, but I would not mind retrofitting the 06 with the 09 stuff...anyone done this?
I bought moleskin almost four years ago and have never had a scratch (or residue) and I ride with my windows down ALL the time.http://www.tintprotector.com/ford/
Use the extra leftover to line the cupholder
