My tint is scratched all up. I figured it was from tiny pieces of sand and grit that fly up into the window crevice when I drive with the windows down. Can moleskin prevent those scratches???

Moleskin sucks ***. I hate mine. Leaves residue on the window every time I roll it down. I thought over a year or so it might just go away but nope.

Yep! But you have to make sure you buy Tint Protector moleskin. Moleskin is just a generic name for this type of felt.

There is a generic Moleskin that leaves has a week adhesive and it will fall off and leave glue all over your window.

The Tint Protector moleskin has an acrylic adhesive that won't come off or mess things up. It's designed for auto use. It's just like OEM stuff.

Is this what your tint is starting to look like?

I bought moleskin almost four years ago and have never had a scratch (or residue) and I ride with my windows down ALL the time. Good to know Ford solved the problem in '08.

Same here with my 06, but I would not mind retrofitting the 06 with the 09 stuff...anyone done this?

And for $29 it an easy fix that takes 30 minutes to install.

Use the extra leftover to line the cupholder
