I originally bought the 55-watt kit but before installing it had second thoughts that it would be too bright and returned it for the 35-watt kit. I'm glad I did! The 35 watt kit is very, very bright. No regrets at all. While the bulb capping helps reduce glare, the OEM reflectors still throw some light above the "cut off". This turns into glare and would only be amplified with 55 watts.
