How big of a difference does Gas make?

Oops! I'm answering from the start of the thread, not here...
Well my answer for the beginning at any rate was.
Sorry, I gotta disagree with the "won't make a difference" crowd.
If the car is designed for premium, and you're running regular, under full acceleration the computer will retard the timing to prevent knock, which will reduce output. Even the oem computer will give the car "a different tune" which can both reduce timing and make the mixture richer.
If it's really bad gas, it can put it right into limp mode.

Better no, same yes. There won't really be any substantial differences. Steeda, and C&L both keep the factory sound tube. Personally I'm going with the C&L eventually. All intakes will net around the same HP gains (if any gain over stock). The stock intake flows really good. Either way just pick one that looks good to you.
