First of all, are you sure it's the belt, and not a tensioner issue? If it is the belt, is it contaminated with something that's making it slip (i.e. tire or interior trim dressing), or perhaps just old?

They make belt dressing you can use to help the belt grip better, but IMO just replace the belt.
