Why the 5.0 over a 370z?
I find that crazy. To me the Z has a much more muscular stance, but I will admit the stang is beyond strong. To me the Z is a bodybuilder where as the mustang is a power lifter if that makes any sense.

Both cars are really nice. Different spectrums though. The 370 is more of a "nimble" car. It handles better than the mustang and brakes a little better as well. It has a "nicer interior" (depends on who's looking at it I guess) and supposedly feels more "sporty"
I say this all in quotes because its all how you see things yourself. I personally, as stated here a couple times, think the Z-Car is too much of a chick car now-a-days. I had a choice before I bought my Mustang and I simply didn't even consider the 350/370z. I used to own an Acura NSX with the C30B and the 5-spd and loved it...so I'm not "afraid" of imports as some of those people will suggest about us Mustang guys.

I guess Ill just have to go in and see what Ford can offer me. My biggest worry is that there will be mustangs all over the place like the new camaro where I live. I see the occasional 350z where I live, but there are hardly any z period let alone 370s. I also like the exclusivity, but i guess that could come with customizing a stang if i get one.
but how much of american muscle is actually made in usa????? my old ranger was made in mexico and canada but assembled in the states.... same way with my s10 at least a toyota is made and assembled here cuz they lower the import cost that way
Build and price your Mustang <--- Follow that link and you can check out all the options and pricing while building a new Mustang. There are tons of options to choose from and $36K will get you a lot of toys. SYNC comes standard with GT Premium package the only other must have option as far as I'm concerned is the 3.73:1 rear gear for $395.
