sounds about right to me. I maybe get 200 miles per tank. seems to average out at 14 mpg by hand and 14.5 by computer.

gotta pay to play. although I'd check all the parameters like the others have suggested

I have the same tuner plus a GMS CAI on my 06. I use the 93 Octane Hard Shift, Canned tune, and I still get around 240 miles on one tank of premium gas (I still get around 20 MPG on highway trips). I didn't need to make any changes to the canned tune settings (Other than turning off the Traction Control ). Not sure why your MPG are so low unless like others have posted, you are "enjoying" your new tune more than you realize?????

Either you drive in bumper to bumper traffic everyday or you never stay away from WOT. Your MPG sucks! I average 20 MPG mixed city/hwy and 25 hwy @ 70-80 MPH. I can get 30+ MPG on hwy @ 50 MPH. My car was tuned @ Bamachips 2+ years ago.

Good call sports cars are not for the ecco freindly and shouldn't be IMO. I had the same problem with burning the gas up when I got my preadetor. Figured I'd loose a little mpg but sure the heavy foot didn't help either.

I monitor my gas mileage by "smiles per mile." Miles per gallon is too depressing.

I'm running a 5.0 stroker and I can get 24mpg with cruise control set at 60. Seems high and makes me want to check my tire settings lol.

While I wouldn't buy a Mustang with fuel economy in mind, this notion is certainly changing. Though originally marketed as a luxury car, I'd count my dad's BMW 335i as a sports car. With over 300hp at the wheels he can get 34-35mpg on the highway no problem.
