Longtubes in...need a bit of help
So, on Thursday with a mechanic friend I installed my BBk ceramic long tubes with an off road x pipe and I am having a couple small issues.
1. 1 bolt broke off each exhaust clamp and my axle back is low on the passenger side.
2. The hanger on my Slp loudmouth broke and is barely attached.
3. When driving slow you can really feel the vibration under the floor boards.
4. The bbk logo on the midpipe is upside down but the hangers still went into the factory rubber brackets, is that a problem? Should I flip it?
5. I think a bolt on the heat shield is touching the headers.
Thanks for any help. The install took us seven hours, and was kinda fun. I love how loud it is lol and the smell from having no cats...

First time Ive ever heard someone claim to enjoy the smell from a catless exhaust lol. As far as the exhaust installation is concerned, it was designed to fit one way. In my experience, you can make it go another way, but there is always problems associated with it. Ive seen people reverse the hangers, strip the bolts, put the pipe in backwards or upside down. It pays to visualize the proper installation technique before reaching for your first wrench and do it the right way the first time.

i also have the BBK LT's and o/r x pipe
i cant remember, is the x pipe symmetrical, can it fit either way?
and you should definately have a shop fix the hangars, bc if it moves, it wont get any better only worse.
you'll develop an exhaust leak and have to fix it later anyways. plus you'll like the exhaust even more without the vibration.
and i love the smell of 92 octane in the morning too!

Couldn't tell you what size the clamp would be short of measuring the pipe in question and going from there. I'd try to cover up that bolt on the heat shield that is touching your headers or create some clearance cause with engine vibrations it could wear down the finish on your shiny new headers and help em get rusty.

I'm gonna get to work on them friday...
Bought new clamps...wholesale cost...30 bucks a piece...*wow right?
Gonna flip the midpipe, grind the heat plate screws, and re-weld my axle back hangers
