I changed out my wheels, and my TPMS has freaked out. What am I supposed to do about it? Is there a way to change the sensors over?
In looking at wheels @ http://www.americanmuscle.com/

They list this stuff as options to buy.

Add TPMS Sensor Kit (recommended for 07+):

Add TPMS Tool (required to sync sensor kit):

2005 - leaks
V6es ran cooant thru the Throttle Body

2006 - leaks
better cuz some bugs worked out

2007 - leaks
my color guages
cooling system redesign
aux jack - TPMS (govt mandated)
no A arm braces on some
taillight connectors revised

2008 - leaks
bright chrome on radio dials
A arm braces are back
OEM moleskins
new V6 spoiler design

2009
seatbelt holder
midyear spindle/strut bolt redesign (more holding torque)

more will come to mind...
The "new" V6 spoiler was introduced in the 07 MY. The seatbelt guides were introduced in the 08 MY.

Side airbags became standard in 08.

The 05-early 08 cars have the crappy sparkplugs. Easiest way to tell on an 08 is by the COP part number. Earlier p/n=**** plugs.

07-09 unibodies are supposedly beefed up across all trim levels due to the 07 intro of the GT500.

The 09s have the 45th anny emblem in place of the GT emblem.

My Color was an available option from the beginning. Not sure if it was part of the Premium package or the Interior Upgrade Package, and I'm too tired tonight to search through my files for my 2005 brochure!
Sure someone will chime in!

The biggest difference over the years has been the expanded list of available options. Very few were offered (much less even available as dealer installed options).

All 2005 manual shift came stock with 3.55 gears.

Could get you away from the facts, I suppose.

I honestly think you can't go wrong with any year '05-09 but '07 would be a good choice. It has the audio jack, lot of the 'bugs' worked out etc

The 2007 Workshop Manual says, "Vehicles built prior to 01/2007 contain dual-phase steel in the rocker reinforcement and underbody crossbraces. Vehicles built after 01/2007 contain high-strength steel in the rocker reinforcement and underbody crossbraces."

Since the print date of the Manual is 8/2006, there may have been a bit of guesswork on Ford's part as to the timing of the change.

It's fair to say that at some point there was probably a change. Yeah, watch that word "probably."
