either your miles to empty was was off or you could have put another gallon in the car atleast. You do know that s197s have a glitch where the pump will shut off but the tank wont be full sometimes?

Off topic, but... howarmat, I'll say it again: I love the wax job on your car. Everytime I see your sig pic in a post you'd think I had just caught a glimpse of some tall, thin, voluptuous babe in CFM heels, cutoffs... well, you get the picture.

What thread topic is this???...

lol thanks nuke....it must have been the Maryland water that made it shiny that time. I think i used the turtle wax ice soap that time too.

Well, I don't care to debate whether or not I know how to fill a gas tank. I will say I never take the auto-shutoff of the pump as gospel. I keep pumping until I hear it in the filler tube or it splashes on my shoes.

Oh, but with the s197 you can get splashes on the shoes even if it's not full. TSB, it's not a lie.

before this idiotic thread gets locked-

There are so many gas stations in the country (and world) there is no excuse for ever running out of gas in this day and age! As soon as the first warning beep sounds, get gas!

And if you're trying to milk as many gallons out of the last remaining cups of fuel you're going to need a new fuel filter very soon! That last remaining gas is where all the dirty is.

Less than 1 tank this year so no need to worry about miles to empty
