Naw, tbh, I'm not a fan of the 05-09 body style. Plus, the used ones around here go for too much money, if I were to spend that much, I'd just get the 2011 and be done with it. I like the New Edge's after the 2010+ style.

You do realize that the 1st yr "bugs" dont get "resolved" until the 3rd model yr right? Take a look at the center console of the 99-00 vs 01-04 mustang. Ford realized there was a design flaw with the location of the cupholders in the 99 model and coundnt "fix" it until the '01 model, same with issues in the 05 they werent fixed till the '07 or even '08 models.

Actually, they could fix it, which is the same as any other car company, they can fix just about anything.
The only problem is it costs $$$ to do so. Even for such a small thing as to redesign the interior for more convenient placement, ease of use, and other ergonomic considerations, the redesign cost might not be in any engineer's or company head's desires considering the cost and expenses they are still trying to make up for the R&D on the current car.

But as with any good company that listens to feed back, I would hope that they would seriously look at redesigning small things to improve on the current, if for anything, for customer service. This way, people will know that they are out for the customers and have our backs, and we in turn would drum up support for the company and even recruit new buyers into the customer ranks.

Well, I've got a 2007, and have the hood corrosion issue. While I haven't had the problem, the SJB leak was not solved by 2007 from what I read.
