Default 17" tires to 18"...

Can I do a simple swap going from 17" wheels/tires to 18"? I found a set of 18" wheels/tires from a 2009. They still have the TPMS, so I should be good, correct? Thanks!

It depends on how ur suspension it is set and how much room you have in between the wheel wells. That being said I dont think that 18" wheels will hit on anything. About TPMS i know nothing about.

Yeah i dont see there being a problem with 18". I currently have 20" on mine and my suspension is lowered because of Saleen Racecraft Suspension.

The tires I'm interested in are 235/50 ZR18, BFG's.

I believe the sensor type changed from the band style to the valve style in '10 so you should be fine there.

Going from 17" to 18" wheels, just be sure your overall tire O.D. is the same. Use one of the online tire calculators that lets you compare.

Also, I recall Ford suggests changing the bumper stops if going from 17" to 18" but many folks don't bother.

Perhaps you could give 255/45/18's a try? They are about the same diameter and look much better on factory 18's than the narrow 235's.

I agree, besides the look factor, it gives you a little bit of protection from curb damage.
