ok so i need to change up the exhaust just a tiny bit. I have Off road x with muffler deletes... so strait exhaust, it is a little high sounding at times and drones... so i was thinking resonators... what do you think

 

Put the cats back on!!! Take a video of how it sounds now...

but you already have muffler deletes...

 

+1...one advantage of adding cats is a more refined note.

 

And the 4.0 with no cats sounds terrible...

I had o/r h and straight through mufflers(resonators) and it was stupid loud, and obnoxious. Switched to a catted X and it sounds BEAUTIFUL Get a lot of compliments on it.

 

Stupid loud and obnoxious, that's the sound I was looking for when I installed the Flowmaster 40s on my 07 GT. Disappointed with the outcome, still to MFing quiet! Next move will be off-road X or H, screw the cats, nothing flows better than none.
