difference? eBay lights
#11
My one and only experience buying lights on ebay was for a F150. The lights looked great, but they functioned horribly. The lighting pattern was all screwed up. You couldn't properly aim them because of the way the light was dispersed, and even using the same bulbs, they were no where near as bright.
No more ebay lights for me. Screw me once, shame on you, screw my twice, shame on me.

Here is what happens most of the time: Sure AM might buy some lights and other stuff form the very same Chinese factory, but the difference between the AM ones and the ebay ones is that the chinese factory purposefully sell sorrier quality ones to the ebay ones and give the good ones to AM.
AM of course pays more for the better ones because they are the ones that passed factory quality control specs.
The ones on ebay are the failures, the quality control rejects. And instead of recycling them like any proper factory should, those cheap Chinese guys peddle the rejects onto the guys who would sell them on ebay.
Another practice is that the very same factory makes two versions: One to be sold to AM, and a much lesser quality one (poorer materials, poorer fit and quality) to be purposefully sold to the ebay sellers.
The ebay sellers then lie and say: These are just like the AM ones!" but the only thing they have in common with the AM ones is they came from the very same factory. The ebay guys want you to think you are getting the exact same quality when you are not.
