Trading in 2009 Mustang GT to get 2011 GT, help!

Dude there is no way you will get $20k for your car in trade. For a 2009 GT you might see $16500. Maybe. I was offered $17k for my 2010 v6 convertible with 12000 miles on it and the 2010 is a lot nicer car all around than the previous generation. Granted yours is a GT but it is not a vert AND it is a year older than mine, has more miles and is old generation technology compared to the 2010+ cars. Good luck.

No money down, I considered it as if I was starting fresh and getting a new car.
The 09 was a great car, but the 4.6 engine really felt like it had to work to get the car going. The 5.0 is so smooth and acts like it is barely working to go, and go fast. Overall the 2011 is much more refined, and the base interior on the 2011 looks better than the premium interior on the 09.
My 09 was an automatic, so coming to a 2011 with a manual is pure joy. I feel like I can actually drive the car now, rather than ride in it.
Thumbs up Ford, this new 5.0 is the absolute best deal considering the price!
