Yeah, cause if she messes with a different shaft, the BF might get p#ssed.

Tanner girl, the T5 are notorious for being junk so there you go.
And while they're in there, take advantage of it to put a new clutch.
It's not that expensive and buy it yourself so you don't get rapped.

I thought about buying a clutch and having them go ahead and replace it, but I don't seem to be having any problems with mine. I finally found out how if feels when the clutch slipped yesterday. I'm stuck in an SS Cobalt until they get my car back, and 3rd in that car slips ALL the time with the tune on. So yeah my car is definitely not slipping like that.

Is there any point in upgrading the clutch when I replace it?

And Eddie I think you a definitely right about them not wanting to drop the tranny. The car has been there a solid week and they haven't done anything to it but try to tell me that its the clutch. I talked to them yesterday and he didn't argue about it being the clutch but he didn't say much either so who freaking knows what they are thinking.

It's not weather you have a bad clutch or not, but if you start to get into 50K+ then why not starting with a fresh clutch.
This point is now moot since you plan to drop a 5.4 anyways...

Hi Tanner05,

Was your issue resolved with the dealer? I can understand how frustrating that must have been. I hope at this point your Mustang is back home and everything is perfect. If not, please please PM me with your VIN, contact information, mileage, and servicing dealer information and I will try to resolve it.
