airbag light with race seats

airbag light with race seats
I installed race seats in my 06 GT. The airbag warning light is lit on the dash because its looking for the seat airbags which are no longer there. I have to go through emissions testing and they are going to fail me with the warning light on. I also have an '11 V6 that I tried to swap the seats out but the one plug doesnt match up.
My question is along time ago I heard something about a "terminator" plug. Does anyone know if these exist or where I can get them? I'm on my way to the dealership to see if they have any.
Looks like I didnt need to worry about it because it passed.

So are you saying that this is now a non-problem? Cool...
But as far as the light, I'm not sure what it would take to fake out the RCM (Restraint Control Module). I did a quick look thru the shop manual and wiring diagrams and struck out.

Not all the 05-09 mustangs were equiped with airbags in the seats, which makes me think that there is a plug or cap that was used to avoid the airbag light from coming on. On the other hand Ford may have by-passed the problem with some type of software programming.

Look at your stock seat connectors: if you have the yellow plugs on the end of the 2-wire connector, you didnt have side airbags and already have the end-terminals for them.
But even with those, the passenger 'occupant classification system' will use pressure on the bladder in the seat to determine if there's a passenger and how to adjust the front airbag for them. That has to be connected to the module under the seat and plugged in to the harness (this is passenger-side only).
You'll need to find out what malfunction codes are being detected and fake-out the circuits or complete the system.
