My FPDC was at 85 percent at WOT; I added a BAP and run it at 20 percent. I consider it cheap insurance.

When you are running the boost a pump, do you have it bypassed so is always on? Or do you have it hooked up to the boost switch?

I also just contact Justin over @ VMP tuning who sells the vmp500 kits and he just said he would have no problem tuning for my exhaust mods with the 2.55" pulley and I would NOT need a boost a pump unless I did cams or an over drive pulley

Some tuners prefer having more fuel available then is needed because it is much easier to tune.

My BAP is connected to vaccum source. Not sure if someone answered that.

My preference is to have the BAP.

Simon - I understand what you're saying. I just dont know whether to follow evolution performance whose in magazines and builds some of the fastest stangs around, or follow VMP who both engineers and tunes for the VMP500 kit. =/. Also I would need to see how I would hook up the bap cause I know brenspeed has you bypass it so its always on and not hooked to a vacuum line

Shane - I'm sure justin knows his stuff and he has been doing it for a while cause I just joined the fnsweet forum and everyone on there loves him. I just dont know if because of the fact that I have headers I would need the BAP.

I agree here it would be my preference to have one, I know I can run 8psi w/out any fuel upgrades but have chosen to upgrade fuel first. With the cams I'm betting you'll need it. I just dont know if I'm going with the GT500 pumps or a cheap wiring upgrade and BAP. I have seen the same question asked on other forums and most people I have seen answer say leave it on all the time with the SC

More power = more fuel! Definitely go with Evo!

I am waiting for a response from Justin @ VMP about whether I would bypass the BAP to always be on. Its such a simple install if you bypass it and I would have no problem installing it but if I would have to hook it to a boost switch I would have it done somewhere (tacobills write up has you bypass it).
