I don't want to have to worry about pulleys and my motor blowing due to a turbo or supercharger and there is no way I can get 4-6000 dollars up for one. I can't save money for that long of time for the life of me and with being in school full time and a part time job making only $8 an hour.. It would take me years.. And that doesn't even count if I have a girlfriend. Lol.

If I can't have that much power then I want it to at least feel like I have that much. If that makes any sense? I know 4.10s will help me get off the line quicker as well as a torque converter, yes I have an automatic.. So I imagine they will help make it feel closer to that power range if I went as far as cams, headers, x pipe, tb, manifold and whatever else I can find to help me get my power.

around 350 rwhp with bolt ons and cams, with some good tires and gears would make a very quick Mustang.
horsepower isn't everything when it comes to speed.
there are other things you can do that will make you faster, but not necessarily increase hp.
like gears, and alum DS, and lightening your curb weight, suspension, tires, etc.
modding inside your budget is very smart.
making a 700 hp monster sounds nice, but most of us cant afford that, me included.
mod a little at a time, what you can afford, and you'll be a happy Mustang owner bc it'll be better than it was last week.

I looked at a one piece aluminum driveshaft a couple of days ago. But didn't know the difference it made, only that it was stronger and lighter weight, making it easier to turn the tires. I'm sticking with the wheels and tires I have for right now, in my sig, until they don't grab any more for me (tires at least).

brakes are the next thing on my list, rotors need replacing because they are warped.. and then suspension. Suspension will be the following:

Koni STR.T Shocks/Struts
Steeda Sport Springs
Strano Front/Rear Adjustable Sway Bars

Weight reduction and reapportionment would help but I don't really know where to start, plan to delete the rear seat here soon also so that may help a LITTLE, big emphasis on little. Lol. Idk where else to go from there.

I love being in the Midwest/Mid South

Even if its illegal, nobody cares. If nobody cares about a law, it isn't enforced.

I got pulled over at top speed on a back road one night - knew the sheriff personally - gave me a verbal.

Yeah well people care about it here and I have already almost lost my license twice over speeding. In Ga if you're under 21 you have a mandatory court date and you get screwed over if you're a guy so I would rather be safe than sorry.

When are you gonna post pictures of your new ride? Been waiting on them.

Yeah that's horrible.

I have a suggestion for that, tho.

Go to town hall meetings and get friendly with the judge and the sheriffs

Go to police benefit fundraisers, ect

Trust me, a cop that is your friend will almost always cut you a break.
