2006 gt convertible jumps
I recently purchaced a 2006 GT convertible with 24000 miles miles. As far as I know it has no damage or aftermarket installs. The only problem that I experience is on the highway when hitting a bump even a small one as the seperations in road surface the car jumps to the left but gets right back on track. The suspension seems very tight and no obvious problem seems to exist. The ride quality is very hard on these lousy roads where i live and it seems like something just isnt right. Any ideas oh what the problem may be or a fix with aftermarket front end replacement parts. thanks

What size wheels are on the car?
Are you able to fit your fist inbetween the rear wheel well and tire?
The reason I ask is, this will determine if you have lowering springs on your car.
I have 20" wheels and lowering springs, which makes my ride a bit rough. Better shocks/suspension would help my situation.

The GT's have some noticeable skew (or whatever the term is) on certain road surface irregularities. My GT does this in places the g/f's '06 V6 doesn't. Ask the question in the S197 handling section and I'm sure you'll get a better answer and a number of ways to remedy it. I simply live with it.
