Really? I am surprised! According to MSN Autos Spec on the '13 V6 & the SS goes like this;

Mustang 305 hp with 280 lb of Torque
SS 260 hp with 260 lb of Torque

Maybe because the stang is a little beefier it may feel slow to you??

CAI & tune combo from American Muscle or Brenspeed. Best power mod short of going FI.

lol. my cobalt was pretty modded. and it also weighed 2800 and not 3400. it had a 2.7 pulley 60# injectors CAI headers and full catless exhaust tuned on E85. it was making 308 hp and 255 tq to the wheels.

i went ahead and bought the CAI and tune combo from americanmuscle.com. im hoping to be under 13 in the 1/4 mile.

As far as build quality all my friend tell me i bought a piece of junk and that the 3.7 mustangs are bad about blowing up?? i read about a tick in the valvetrain for the 2011-2012. How well are these cars built? and have they corrected the "tick" for the 2013? Thanks for all the help so far!

Remeber your friends drive 4 bangers there is and always will be sometihng against a mustang.

They are good cars and there are people out there who trash them and say they are a POS. Now from my experince especially 4.6 two valves and my 4.0 has it to. I believe its injectors clicking but there is a slight click underhoood nothing that is anything to worry about at all.

As long as they arent like the 6.0 International Diesels Ford had a couple years ago, you should be just fine.
