Here we go again! Engine Ticking, LOUD fan, and air leak?

It sounds like injectors to me. They are a lot louder when the engine has a plastic intake, the plastic doesn't have any dampening like a cast metal would have.
I had a 4.0 Ranger with really loud injectors and it was due to the plastic intake. I took it back to the dealer a couple times. Then they had me listen to a couple new Rangers in the lot, they all sounded like mine. So I just had to get used to it (never really did).
