You too! What the hell do they expect us to do? Log on to Facebook and call all our friends to chatterbox the anger away? We're men, we get mad! She told me she wasn't talking to me that night because of my anger and acted like it was a punishment. Wimmins.....

Hah. My wife was pretty sympathetic. We got her a '13 Explorer a few days before the crash. She knew she'd have been the same if it was her car that got hit.

He may be an idiot for hitting you but he was man enough to leave you a note. Most of the time, people bail.

Lil chef, sorry dude. Sucks big time.

I went to the front desk and filed a report, they're going to look through the security footage to see if they caught anything. I may luck out here

Yeah, I think I'd have passed ont the Stang when I bought it if I didn't have a garage; certainly didn't buy her as my DD.

Good luck, man. It'll work out. Just be sure the shop you use has a good rep. Where abouts in FL?

eh the lack of a garage hasn't bothered me until now after 3 years of ownership. This is something that could have just as easily happened at a store lot. While i see having a garage as preferable i don't see it as a necessity.

I'm in Jacksonville

Yeah, getting hit anywhere sucks. A few months ago my car was hit in my apartment house garage. My parking is such that my car faces the car parking opposite me. The other guy decided to park his Lexus 450h SUV with his front bumper on top of my front bumper. Fortunately, he didn't back his vehicle up after he hit me, and I saw the vehicles in that position. So there was no question that he did it.

He didn't leave a note, and I didn't deal with him directly. Everything went through my insurance company. Good I didn't deal with him. My insurance claims rep referred to him as "Mr. Sunshine." Not a nice guy. My insurance company sent out an adjuster and came up with $760.03 in damage. My insurance company paid me for the damage, less my deductible, immediately. Then, after they collected the full amount from the other insurance company, they sent me a check for my deductible.

Hope it works out for you, and you can collect in full.
