This is not special to the gt500. SVT has been doing this for nearly 20 years with the cobra engines.

True...which sets them apart from the rest of the Mustangs...

I'm not sure how you're getting your math here... The weight I can understand could be true, but just a CAI/tune 5.0 I don't see getting 455 to the wheels, unless you are referring to crank hp (which no one who talks about mods and power talks about).

Car dyno'd 379rwhp stock. You're telling me it's going to gain 76rwhp from a CAI/tune. Keep dreaming my friend...

I'd say 390-405 rwhp with cai/tune on these cars is a more reasonable expectation.. every now and then you run into someone who wants to refer to crank hp to sound like his car is more powerful though : )

only car geeks like us know the difference between rwhp and crank horsepower.

So if I get a B326 and it's just built by Brent, does that make it extra special?

I like my low key gt that everyone thinks has 300hp. Driving a GT500 would be like me putting a huge whipple sticker on my front and back windshields. I'd still get one if I had the chance, but nobody is going to be surprised when they get smoked.
