Pulled over 18 times in 2012
Read most of this thread. My opinion, cops that pull people over for stupid **** aren't worthy of their badge. Harrasing innocent people who do not commit crimes because they are bored. Find something better to do with your life effers!
Where I live, the cops are out protecting their citizens and not dicking them over. I have illegal tint, too loud a car (and its getting louder), tinted tails, clear turns with non amber lights, no front plate and I rund 6 lights at night on the front (four is the legal limit). I have driving by highway patrol cars and my city cops, been in the gas station parked with them numerous times... never been pulled over. However, I have 0 tickets for anything and I don't dare go more than 5 over the speed limit. Ohio is bad, what can I say. Only once, in some small hick town, did i get followed by a cop. And I told my wife before I met her there I was going to hvae trouble with the police. Didnt pull me over though.

Are you insinuating that I don't protect my citizens? So when that domestic call comes in at 3 in the morning where the husband has just beat up his wife, your saying I just ignore it and stop the car with a headlight out? When a shot's fired call comes in with 7 possible suspects and your the only person on duty in the "small hick town" and your backup is 30 min away, I just turn my cheek the other way and find the red underglow going down the street right? Schedule a ride along with an agency and walk a day in our shoes before you make accusations like that.
I have had several cops try to ticket me, but only one has actually pulled me over
I was delivering something for work and my truck was broken down so I drove my car that day. They needed me back at the shop ASAP so I was going about 80 in a 55, and I had to squeeze through a couple of cars so I could get some space. I think I was just zoned out and ready to get back to work then I noticed a white Tahoe with a brush guard and lights behind me (uh-oh). He looked like he was about to pull me over, and that's when I noticed my radar wasn't going off. He flagged me down and asked me if I knew why I got pulled over. "Nope". He said I was speeding and asked me if I knew how fast I was going; "nope". He told me I was going 65 in a 55, so right there I knew he was lying (because it was at least 80 lol). I never admitted guilt, and he never had his radar on, so I got off scott free. And he told me he really liked my car and that I was very polite and respectful.
I also rode in my car with a couple friends to go camping in this neighborhood that lost funding and was abandoned, and when I got there about 6 cops were waiting with bright Mag lights pointed straight in my face. The girl I was with had her pipe and "baked goods" sitting under my watch in the cup holder. I rolled down the window and the cop asked us what we were doing out there that late at night and I just told him the truth. Then he replied, "You can't be back here, only stage 3s are allowed back here". I laughed and talked to him about my car and how it actually was supercharged and he told me he owns 427r. The other cops told us that they were looking for some people living in the woods back there. My friend was following me in my truck which hadn't been inspected in a year and I told him that we were using it to carry the coolers (which were full of beer). All the cops said it was fine and let us all go home no problem.
So the moral of the story here is it's not so much if you're doing something illegal and get caught, but getting caught and knowing how to work your way around it. The law works for YOU and the better you know it the better off you'll be.

Sorry, that's not the 'Mustang thing' I've been exposed to. Pulled once since I bought, and the cop let me go with a warning and 'that's a nice fast car, slow down and be safe!'
Kevin - man you're in my neck of the woods it would seem, I daily drive by KSU from Woodstock, over to where I work in Kennesaw (across the st from Cobb airport).

Due to my company relocating, my daily commute is typically down the far end of Chastain near Bellsferry rd and 575 ramp.
ditto, will keep my eyes peeled! If the 575 ramp traffic is too nutty or people are jostling for position like candies in a nerd box, then I keep going till I hit Hwy 5 then cruise up into Woodstock then east on 92 to home.
Do you go to any car events around kennesaw? If so id like to know where they are located
