Does adding a supercharger make starting in 1st harder?

With cams, yes it's harder to take off and can die in drive-thrus and stop lights.

I have a centrifugal s/c (full boost around 3500rpm rather than 2500rpm like roots or other types) and it feels identical to stock when taking off

Only think I can think of is if you have gears installed and a blower 1st becomes useless but not harder to start in.

Yes cams can make it tricky to get going sometimes. I've rarely had it stall it usually catches itself. Best way I've found is ping off the limiter and drop the clutch. No worry of not moving
