Painting over tint protective film
Weird question...but, I got some LED taillights that are REALLY bright red. I'm tinting the lenses but obviously the tint does not cover the area around and between the lenses.
The tint I'm using has a clear protective film over it, so I got the idea that I could install the tint, and then paint the exposed areas with either Niteshades or paint (haven't decided which yet), peel off the protective film and voila, all will be good. But, does anyone know if either Niteshades or paint would craze or eat through the film? That's my only worry.
