Default VMP Blower upgrade

Upgrading my Roush M90 to the VMP 1.9 with a 75mm pulley.
I have the 2.49 pulley upgrade, boost a pump with the steeda cold air intake and it makes 425 to the wheel.

This upgrade should bring me 480 RWH and 460 torque.
Car only has 26k miles on it and from what understand this is pushing it when it comes to the engines internals and the trans input shaft.

I want to be prepared for not if but when the engine blows. Is it better to get a junk yard block and build it or is there a good crate engine someone could recommend?
I know Bren speed offers them starting a 9k but thats a bit much.. Not interested in getting involved in a coyote swap.

You should replace the input shaft as well as your driveshaft. I went with brenspeed on my internals. Had the bottom end built and replaced gears in the oil pump with billet gears. Which increased the price doing that as it was not part of the package. Since I was doing it then seemed like a no brainer to do. You might also consider a catch can for your tranny oil. Id also suggest oil catch cans on both sides but there is differing view points on this.

You had Bren speed rebuild your engine? Is that more cost effective than buying one of their long blocks?
I have a catch can for one side, with the higher boost wouldn't hurt to do the other. Ill have to look into trans optionss.

Im not sure if it was more cost effective as I didn't price out the long block. I had already purchased about a 1,000.00 dollars worth of **** so I was already committed to rebuilding my motor. If memory serves me right it was around the 10k mark. I believe mine was a bit over that b/c of replacing the gears in the oil pump and I had bigger injectors installed at the same time. I believe the trans catch can is either through jdm or vmp. I don't remember which. You could call brenspeed and compare the price. They seem to be a good group of guys.

Yeah that's the kind of price range I figured. Bren speed I know is a great choice.
I'm going to check out a SK Speed near me that has an engine shop. Would save at least a grand in freight charges.
