Default Oil Pump

I have a '98 Cobra, and it recently had a crankshaft problem. I hear the oil pumps aren't that great, and I'd like to upgrade, just to be on the safe side.Problem is, I can't find any upgraded ones that fit a cobra. Summit, Jeg's, and Steedahaveall let me down. Anyone know where to get one?

look for a melling pump. Billet gears are a good thing. Been running mmr pump for a while, no issues. Modular powerhouse uses them, so they cant be too bad

The oil pump its self is fine. Its the gears that are an issue. VTengines, Triangle Speed Shop, Sean Hyland (I think) etc...all have billet gears. They go for around 300 bucks. Ive heard of the MMR cryo treated gears breaking, personally I'd stay away...
