Sirius Visor Install 2006 GT Part 3
OK. It's important to click on 'embed picture in post'. This has actually been a harder process than the install!
OK, now that you see where this is going, you can understand the warning in the first part. This is a clean but not so functional install and it is DANGEROUS to try to tune while driving.
Now that you have the antena routed, it's time to mount the unit using the rest of that velcro. Use the base as a template and make sure it clears the center console when the lid is open. Wind up as much of the power cable and poke it under the piece of carpet in the console. Mount the unit and you are done. Don't forget to flip your screen display as it makes for a little easier viewing over your or your passenger's shoulder.
Yeah, it's probably what you'd call 'ghetto' but it's going to get me through until they finally come out with an in-dash factory unit.
Hope you found it of interest. I look forward to your feed back (or a better place to mount it!).

Tungsten,
MAKE SURE that you unplug your sirius when leaving the car... THE POWER SOCKET IS HOT ALL THE TIME
otherwise, you're going to end up with a flat battery!

Yup. Big Floppy, You are correct. I neglected to include that little tid-bit of info. Thanks!
2GKT5, As far as how the music get's to the speakers; the Visor (and all plug and plays that i know of for that matter) has a transmitter. Just set your radio to the factory recommended setting and you are good to go. Sometimes that may not be the best station so there are alternative settings of course.
