Default HP at the flywheel versus HP at the Wheels

Anyone have an idea what the powertrain loss is for these 4.6L GT's?

I know stock it was rated 300HP at the flywheel.

With my dynotune and goodies, I hit 280HP/287 ft-lbs torque at the wheels.

I'm just curious what the at flywheel HP would be now.

Thx,

Mike

Based on 15% drivetrain loss your fly wheel hp is about 330.

With your mods, you should be at 320-350 to the flywheel now.

Thanks.

It is an automatic 5sp transmission, would that zap more than 15%?

Thx,

Mike

About 20% worst case with an auto. That would put you at 350 to the fly wheel. What kind of dyno were you dynoed on?

Cool, nice numbers. You almost have as much as me and I have more mods. Mine was on a dyno dynamics.

Normally, 22% drivetrain loss for automatics, but that's a generic all types of transmissions number, no idea what it is exactly.

22% !! awesome. then the 15-20% for the mustang dyno used on mine and i'm at......404.4hp n/a!! with all the accessories on pump gas.
somehow i just don't think i have that much. oh well i'll keep dreaming about that 5.4 shortblock with the 11:1 compression and cams...yawn...yeah cams....zzzzzzzzz

Before the Saleen S/C install I had 250hp at the wheels and my car is also an auto. With the S/C I now have 353hp/350tq.
