vibration
well I can tell you. and personally talking to roush, they say 5.0 short throw is not same and why they aren't able to R&D one for both, as for vibration I made mine do it today 40 mph at around 2850 rpm, held it there kept vibrating til hit throttle just a tap, and then stopped even holding same speed, and all my v8 buddies joshing me about my 6 banger, well hand to put pedal to metal and smokem down, and and one had his camera so we'll be posting up smoke bomb lol..guess til a TSB comes out we live with shake.
Took mine in last Thursday hoping for a TSB, and nothing.
Incidentaly, are you MT guys getting a 2nd gear clunk sound at slow speeds? The techs at the local dealer said it was normal lash and that they should know since they just came from a transmission class on the new 2011 trannys, or so they claimed.
But then I didnt fall off the turnip truck yesterday.....

unless this setup is unlike 2010, where '10 had a sort of remote linkage maybe this one and i would like to see is a direct bolt on to tranny, maybe why roush told me the throw on the '11 is so close the one they are making not much closer pattern, but to get the taller stick, got to buy their kit i suppose, anyone got pics of '10 tranny vs, '11
found some write ups on the tranny, if the setup on this is unlike '10 then there more direct mounting may be that reason we feel it, but as i said if you can make it do it on demand, try just keeping at the rpm and speed then just tap acel. pedal real quick , just quick tap, mine stops when i do.
The new MT82 manual is designed by Fords JFT joint venture with Getrag in Germany and built in a four-way joint venture plant in China. It features synchromesh on all gears, including Reverse, even in the six-cylinder version. The engineers tell us it is a slick-shifting unit thanks to ball bearings and pivoting shift forks on the shift rails, and there are positive shift stops inside the gearbox.
The box features a middle bulkhead for much better shaft support and a two-piece housing for reduced driveline bending. All gears are honed or ground, then hard-finished for quiet running. The synthetic lube is fill-for-life. Center distance is 82 mm, an insignificant millimeter closer than the out-going Tremec. Weight is 49 kg (108 pounds), and the torque capacity 375 lb-ft.

dual mass is like the same setuop on diesel trucks, suppose to stop vibration, evidently it doesent work on the mustang, they shoud have stayed with tremec, getrag made in china is probably half the problem, anyone go to fordfest at new england dragway last weekend,it was good show, like 4 factory cobra jets, tasca cars
