the only difference between the two shifters is that the v8 has a skip shift module on it.

@makeitblack

what other manuals have you driven? Vibrations are normal on direct linkage shifters, you can add some rubber bushings if you want but that will also numb the overall shifting feel.

We'll see if that becomes a issue in future with Vibration LostBoyz, as long as Ford has you documented and it does become a TSB some day you will be covered, the olny TSB for our cars I was told today was a Steering issue, not sure the problem but was told that. thanks. Can't wait to post me smokin them tires down other day LOL

the steering issue (from what I recall) was early builds, the wheel wouldn't center itself. I think unless you had one of the real early ones I think you're fine.

ok, but if you return to stock, even if a tune is detected the car is stock and should not affect the vehicle, I had tunes for 20" wheels, 93 octane for 20" 91 tune for 19" stock wheels, 87 for 20" and when took for service popped the 19's back on return to stock on SCT X3 was all good, even inspection stations hook up to your jack and read and passed all the time. if they say tune in there ..you just say, well I never loaded one so not sure what to say...ask is the tcomputer not showing a stock setup, if they yes it's stock. well there you go lol.
