It doesn't connect to it but it starts in front of the opening so the air should deflect towords the filter as it enters the engine bay. the head shield only bolts into the car in one spot and it wiggles a bit. I'm thinking of drilling a small hole in the bottom of it and zip tying it to stabilize it.

 

Thanks man so it at least in theory may still utilize it to some effect its also still the most effective looking cai as its just a straight shot to the throttle body and a nice big open element filter I'll prob b getting it for my new perf pack 11

 

I see they make that MMR in differ. colors so if we get some good true results of a stock/ no tunes v6 as dark H is doing I might move on the red one.

Yeah man that would be sweet looking underhood especially if you have a strut tower bar? I think it will look great on my new perf pack in black matching the paint and setting off the factory stb and the perf pack specific engine cover

 

and with that said.........I'm trusting the cover they are getting in tomorrow or tuesday is not the 5.0, that part number they looked at the photo and it listed the part # I posted,,,struts here I'm waiting til get the cover as not that excited where i want to put it on then take off 1 day later to install cover lol..
