Default 393 stroker parts

I wanna build a budget 393 stroker for my stang and I wanna buy all of my parts through summit racing because of my brother's discount. I read some information on different websites and people are building the motors with the summit crank, stock style 302 pistons and stock length rods. My question is there are engine rebuild kits in the summit catalog for the 351w. Can i use the forged kit and then the summit stroker crank, or should i use the forged kit for a 302 and the stroker crank. The crank will be balanced after i buy it and i will most likely get the summit H beam connecting rods but would i be able to get away using the stock rods?

The kits are in the newest catalog, page 116 and the crank is on the next page.

ps. I came up with the decision for the 393 about 5 days ago so im still doing as much reading as i can to gain knowledge of the windsor type motors. If i ask a dumb question im sorry.

From what I have seen Summit and Jegs don't sell a budget kit like what you are trying to piece together. You'll have to buy the parts separately which will cost more money. 351w rods, 302 pistons, 3.85 stroke crank. Also, check out what you compression ratio is before buying pistons. Flat tops are pretty high compression.

be ready for the balancing bill depending on which parts you use, cheap heavy pistons and rods may require alot of heavy metal in the crank which will add up and kill your "budget" 393

3.850 crank
5.956 rod
1.600 ch pistons, watch the skirt length, they may hit the crank counterweight.
