Default Heads for 351W

What are the difference between these heads and does anyone know anything about J and C?? I have a 351W out of a 86 Ford pickup that I am rebuilding and heads are the first goal!

I was told to stay away from Pro-comp type heads... I don't see any indication of that but are these them?? anyone know about these brands and which would be best for a 351W low-mid build

Those heads seem likeedelbrockvictor jr. style. The first set has nearly the same intake runner specs and valve sizes as the victor jr heads. The second set is just the same style head with with smaller intake runners and valves. The second set would be better for a mild build I have a set of victor jr heads on my 408 with the same intake and valve specs as the first set of heads.

Ok awesome i really appreciate your help.. Since I'm doing a mid range build I will go for the second ones.. By getting these heads are there any other stock parts on the 351W that I will have to change as well?

SO far i have a
Edelbrock 1405 600 CFM 4-Barrel Carburetor
and this would be my second buy... after that money is tight because I'm fully rebuilding the engine

Call the company and ask where they get them from and what brand they are. Can't hurt to do a little research, and check into the 190cc vs 210cc, call comp cams or crane cams and get a cam recomendation to go with what head your gonna go with and see what the guys at those places think you should do. Also let this post soak for a little while longer see if ya get any more responces. Ya can also put it in the 5.0 tech forum since that gets more traffic.

You get what you pay for, there is a reason why they are so cheap.
