T-lock break-in?

RE: T-lock break-in?
the tlok shouldnt be ratcheting at all. if you had the truetrac installed, then its normal. If you have the tlok... id take it back.
i paid $309 for my truetrac/3.73s installed ($382 for the parts, gears were given free by ford dealer). Around here i was gettin quoted $309-$600 for labor only, thats a joke. In hindsight (talkin to a ford tech) i shoulda just installed them myself, as he said if u use ford gears, the shims should all be the same, little or no need for measuring pinion depth.

i would also recomend getting the rear diff fluid changed around 1000 mi as well, also 3 heat cycles (let the car warm up and cool down) then easy for 500 mi, then get the fluid changed at 1k
