RE: C&L vs AEM Brute force Intake
I'm running an eBay clone of the AEM intake and AA's 89 tune. Just for fun, the other day I swapped in the OEM airbox and did my usual running around -- the AEM-clonemakes a noticeable SOTP difference.
No dyno, but I'm inclined to believe AEM's numbers are somewhere near realistic, at least for a car with a decenttune.

Without a doubt, the tuner's the best bang-for-buck mod you can do, and should be the first anyone does. But I'm happy with theeBay clone -- paying over $70 for a bent piece of aluminum pipe is just ridiculous to me -- it's a bent piece ofpipe, forGod's sake!
