im just tellin you wut i;ve seen on dyno sheets, if it bothers u so much dont get it. lol i dunno wut to tell u.
Well I've never seen it, it just don't make sense and since you were so willing to endorse them I figured you had personal experience and could actually answer the question instead of being a misinformed advertisement. If you've seen the dyno maybe you could post it so we could see too.
No other company claims to put 15HP up with a CAI alone, those numbers just don't add up so prove us na sayers wrong....can you?
And as said earlier they usually lean out which is bad.

im not here to prove anyone wrong or right, i;ve seen these dyno sheets a ways back and if i have nothing else to do ill try to find them again. If not then w/e im not sayin anyone is right or wrong, for all i know it coulda been with other mods, cuz i have seen dyno sheets for intakes without mentioning other modds. As for gaining 15 hp without a tune, check out k&n it is supposedly garunteed 15 or 16 hp, if not the company will refund ur product. However i have yet to see a dyno on the k&n. As for the BBK, i have no experience from it, just word of mouth, and a dyno sheet way back. Personally I went with the AFE Magnum force stage 2, and plan on getting a tune, when i do ill let u know the numbers.

BTW.. The Steeda CAI requires a tune.
I had the engine come up when I tried to run without one.
The codes that came up indicating alean out condition.
Installed the tune and no problems at all.

Can't speak about the BBK intake since I haven't run it.

hahahaha

a NON tunable CAI will not net you more then a tenth of a second nor a tenth of a MPH, you can make a dyno read whatever the hell you feel like, you can NOT fake a time slip

a non tuning CAI WILL give 1-2 hp at the wheels

Call around, there are a few mail order guys who do the majority of the tuning around here or there has got to be local speed shops around you. Ask them if they do it.
There is BAMA and Brenspeed and VMP and Alternative Auto and quite afew others, do a lil research and you'll find who others are using.
