Are the axles 28 spline in the 7.5 rearend?

Thanks! Just purchase an Auburn HP Series differential.Just found out they make a 31 and 28 for the 8.8 rear and got nervous.

schapman- let me know how that auburn turns out, that was one of the differntials i was looking at cause i wanted something strongerthan a t-lok. i just didnt want to drop the extra cash on it if i didnt know how it would turn out. but yeah. i'd appreciate it (and im sure some others would too) if you would post up a report on it a while dow nthe road on how it works out. are you planning on racing on it? strip? track?

Sorry! it wont ever see a race track. I just wanted something that could be rebuilt and supposedly better that a tlock. I'll have it in after I get my tax return in a month or two.I got it on ebay for new for $248 so I couldnt pass it up.
