Default JLT vs. C&L

I am about to order a CAI/Tune combo from AM but can't freakin' decide which CAI to get. Help me decide.

The JLT combo is cheaper, the C&L looks good, JLT won an Intake Shootout, blah blah blah... Which one did you get and why?

I want to get the JLT package....they are located just minutes from my house so I can get them to install.

Hard to say without trying each I suppose. I just got the C&L w/tune and love it so far. But I'm sure JLT is great too lol.

What I have heard is that the JLT and C&L essentially have the same flow, but the C&L is made of better materials and the shroud is better. What reasons were given for the C&L winning the shoot-out? I'm going C&L when I get one...

All of the tune-required CAI's are equivalent in performance. All the shoot-out proves is that you won't get identical dyno #'s even on the same equipment on subsequent pulls.

Buy your CAI based on what suits your eyes and wallet (wish I had a nickle for every time I said that...).

I installed the C&L tuned kit almost 4 years ago & talk about waking a car up & the improved idle, acceleration & shift is awesome.

Looks are a personal preference but I am impressed with the quality of the C&L.
