Which Tune??
Get the CAI w/ tunes from AM. Order 87 street, 89 performance, and 93 race. Get a half tank of 87 and install the CAI and 87 tune. When you get low, get half a tank of 89 and load the 89 tune. When you are done with that tank, get half a tank of 93 and load the 93 tune. That way you can test out each tune without bias and can decide which one you want to drive to work everyday with.
Thanks for all of the great feedback, everyone! I'm glad we're doing something right!
As for octane, you definitely want to make sure that you're running a higher octane fuel or equal octane fuel in the tank to what you have loaded into the vehicle. Never vice versa.
Even at that, if you were to get bad gas, or if you simply don't have a low octane tune (and you're not somewhere you can call us to get one sent and loaded) - have no fear. When the car is just driving normally (part throttle) without being aggressive, the timing really is close enough where the car will not detonate or ping. It will detonate/ping at mid-full throttle. That's where you should be concerned.
